Diploma Awarding Ceremony 2024

Sri Lanka Institute of Textile & Apparel organized its Diploma Awarding Ceremony 2024 on 26th March at the Bandaranayaka Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

The event aimed to honor the diploma awardees and it witnessed the presentation of 459 students who completed various diplomas, advanced diplomas and higher national diploma courses in the fields of textile, apparel, fashion design, product development, merchandising, quality assurance and industrial engineering.

The ceremony was glammered with the participation of Hon.State Minister (Small and medium enterprise development) Prasanna Ranaweera, Chief Guest Mrs. Thilaka Jayasundara (Secretary, Ministry of Industries), Chairperson of SLITA, additional secretaries of the Ministry of Industries, Board of Governors of SLITA and distinguished guests in the textile and apparel industry.

The keynote speech was topically delivered by Prof. G. A. S. Premakumara, University of Colombo.

This ceremonial event was successfully concluded with warm wishes for the endeavors and future success of diploma awardees and the institute.
