2nd Research Symposium 2026

The 2nd Research Symposium of SLITA, held on 25th March 2026 at the newly opened SLITA Multifunctional Premises, was a remarkable gathering of academic excellence and industry collaboration.

The event was graciously attended by the Honourable Minister of Science and Technology, Secretary to the Ministry, Director General of SLITA, Keynote Speaker, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Academic Consultant to SLITA, Co-Chairs of the symposium, and distinguished invitees.

Under the theme “Fashioning the Future: Textile & Apparel Innovation and Economic Evolution,” the symposium provided a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, research dissemination, and strengthening industry–academia partnerships.
