This course provides hands-on training and essential knowledge in modern garment processing techniques. Students will learn the fundamentals of chemistry and fibre science, fabric types, and accessories. The program covers water quality and colour theory, garment preparation for dyeing, various dyeing and washing methods, and advanced finishing techniques. Special effects such as stone wash, enzyme wash, acid wash, brushing, sand blasting, and laser drawing are also taught. Participants will gain practical skills in garment testing and troubleshooting common problems in washing and dyeing, preparing them for roles in garment production and quality control.

(1) Candidate who has passed six (06) subjects including Mathematics in G.C.E. (O/L) examination. OR (2) Candidate who has obtained NVQ Level 3 certificate in the field of Textile and/ or Apparel OR (3) Candidate who has obtained four (04) years’ experience in the field of Textile and/ or Apparel.
