This program provides hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in the art of Batik. Students will learn fabric identification, fiber and yarn basics, fabric processing, pre-treatment, and color application. The course covers colour theory, matching, pattern making, cutting, sewing, and value addition techniques. Special focus is given to Batik dyeing, with both theory and practical sessions to develop creative designs and professional skills.

Entry Requirements
(1) Candidate who has passed six (06) subjects including Mathematics in G.C.E. (O/L) examination. OR (2) Candidate who has obtained NVQ Level 3 certificate in the field of Textile and/ or Apparel OR (3) Candidate who has obtained four (04) years’ experience in the field of Textile and/ or Apparel.
