Entry Requirements
Must have one of the following qualifications; a) NVQ level 4 in the relevant field, or b) NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field with 2 years of relevant work experience in occupations where no NVQ Level 4 qualification package available, or c) Foreign qualification certified by National Qualification Authority of originating country which is equivalent to NVQ 4 in NVQF of Sri Lanka, or d) Foundation program equivalent NVQ 4 content in the relevant field, or e) Enrolment criteria specified by industry regulatory agencies (e.g. Civil Aviation Authority), or f) G.C.E. (A/L) (SLQF Level 2) in relevant stream with 3 subjects, or g) Acceptable secondary school advance level qualification issued by overseas country. Candidate who enrolled through G.C.E. (A/L) (SLQF Level 2) must undergo a gap filling program equivalent to NVQ Level 4 in the relevant field. Those who intend enrolling for engineering technology diploma courses must have obtained a credit pass for mathematics at G.C.E. (O/L).
