The Engineering section comprises of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and instruments that help to conduct necessary training programs for trainees who follow certificate to diploma level courses in textile, apparel and leather & footwear. This section also possess a well-equipped workshop, laboratories and class room facilities that assists in teaching of the basics and the applications of engineering practices related to the textile, apparel and leather & footwear industry. Furthermore, on the request of the industry the institute offer special services in the areas of valuation of plant & machinery and assessment of key skills of engineering technicians.
