Solidaridad Network Asia- Sri Lanka country office, a Netherland based INGO which has ita regional office in Delhi. Textiles is a commodity that Solidaridad has worked on for many years and has expertise in carrying out sustainable production, minimization of wast and turning waste into value-added production, across India and Bangladesh. Team of leather technical experts, Dr. Avinash Gary, Dr. N.K. Chandraabadu and Mr. Tatheer Zaidi have visited to SLITA on 23rd May 2023.
They discussed with officials of SLITA regarding the current status of the textile and apparel sector in Sri Lanka.Further it was discussed how solidaridad could share their expertise and knowledge to develop the textile and apparel industry in the country and to provide support to SLITA.
